We are staying at the Sandaya campsite down the road and thought we would try here for dinner one evening and it did not disappoint. Probably the best burgers we’ve ever had. Even my 5 & 2 year old loved them. Greet little find just down the road from the campsite. Thank you! :)

The food was absolutely delicious. I can especially recommend the Le Grand Burger 👌🏼 The service from the owner was excellent, he even offered a small taste test of the sauce. For a perfect five-star rating on the ambiance, I would love to see small warm table lamps in the covered outdoor area instead of the single large blue light.

Très belle découverte ☺️, burger plus que copieux, nos filles adolescente nous ont dit " c'est le meilleur burger que nous avons mangé 👍" accueil chaleureux, ambiance cosy et très belle terrasse à l'arrière du bâtiment 😉 Je recommande à 💯%

Von außen unscheinbar – innen ein echtes Highlight!
Von außen wirkt das „Le Grand Burger“ eher unscheinbar, beinahe sogar etwas abweisend, da es an der vielbefahrenen Straße liegt und die Umgebung nicht unbedingt einladend wirkt (wofür das Lokal und seine Besitzer selbstverständlich nichts können). Mehrmals sind wir daran vorbeigefahren – es liegt ganz in der Nähe unseres Ferienhauses –, doch erst am Ende unseres Urlaubs kamen wir auf die Idee, dort essen zu gehen.
Und wir waren positiv überrascht: Hinter dem schlichten Eingang verbirgt sich ein wahres Kleinod. Besonders die versteckte Terrasse im Hinterhof ist ein Highlight – modern und fast schon ein wenig clubartig, minimalistisch und stylisch, zugleich aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und vollkommen abgeschirmt vom Straßenlärm der RD. Man vergisst sofort, dass man sich an einer stark befahrenen Straße befindet.
Kulinarisch überzeugt das Lokal auf ganzer Linie. Die Burger sind frisch und aromatisch, die farbenfrohen Brötchen (gelb aus Maismehl) eine originelle Besonderheit. Die Pommes werden aus echten Kartoffeln zubereitet und alles wird geschmackvoll sowie rustikal auf einem Holzbrett serviert.
Die Bedienung hat zwar versehentlich die Bestellung meines Sohnes mit der meines Mannes vertauscht, doch da es offensichtlich ihr erster Arbeitstag war, sehen wir dies eher als sympathisches Detail. Der Service war ansonsten freundlich, aufmerksam und engagiert.
Fazit: Ein unscheinbarer Eingang, der Großes verbirgt. Wer sich von der äußeren Schlichtheit nicht täuschen lässt, entdeckt ein geschmackvolles Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen und eine kleine Oase der Ruhe – mitten im vermeintlichen „Nirgendwo“ von Fréjus. Für uns ganz klar: volle Punktzahl – und wir kommen sicher wieder!Traduction
Unassuming from the outside – a real highlight inside! From the outside, "Le Grand Burger" appears rather unassuming, almost a bit forbidding, as it's located on a busy road and the surroundings aren't particularly inviting (which, of course, isn't the fault of the restaurant and its owners). We drove past it several times – it's very close to our vacation home – but it wasn't until the end of our vacation that we decided to eat there. And we were pleasantly surprised: Behind the simple entrance lies a true gem. The hidden terrace in the backyard is a particular highlight – modern and almost a bit clubby, minimalist and stylish, yet comfortably furnished. The atmosphere is pleasant and completely shielded from the street noise of the RD. You immediately forget that you're on a busy road. The restaurant's culinary offerings are impressive across the board. The burgers are fresh and flavorful, and the colorful buns (yellow, made from corn flour) are an original specialty. The fries are made from real potatoes, and everything is served tastefully and rustically on a wooden board. The waitress accidentally swapped my son's order with my husband's, but since it was obviously her first day at work, we consider this a nice touch. The service was otherwise friendly, attentive, and engaging. Summary: An inconspicuous entrance that conceals something grand. If you're not fooled by the outward simplicity, you'll discover a tasteful ambiance, excellent food, and a small oasis of calm – right in the middle of Fréjus's seemingly "nowhere." For us, it's a clear: full marks – and we'll definitely be back!

Die besten Hamburger 😉. Auch für Kinder gibt’s ein gutes Menü. Der Service war absolut top. Sehr freundliche und angenehme Bedienung. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Les burgers sont très bons, les produits sont frais, les frites maison. La proprio est rigolote, l’ambiance est décontractée, le service est rapide. On est très loin des trucs qu’on nous sert dans les fast-foods. Bref, que des raisons de revenir au Grand Burger. 🍔
